Grease 6 mini cups with butter and set aside.

In a large saucepan with a heavy bottom, whisk together whole milk, flour, and custard powder until dissolves. Place the saucepan on the stove over medium-low heat and keep stirring to prevent lumps.

Add vanilla extract, yellow food colour, and sugar and keep stirring for 10 minutes. When the custard starts to boil then add the butter and keep stirring until the custard becomes thicker as shown in the video.

Remove from heat and fill in the prepared cups. The custard will take approximately and to cool completely.

Add the coconut powder in a deep side plate, gently press the cups to remove the custard right into the coconut to coat.

Serve immediately.
