Grease a square glass dish with butter and set on a side.

In a non-stick pan over medium-low heat, add butter, condensed milk, and milk powder stir until mixture becomes smooth and no lumps for about 6-7 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low if heat is getting too hot add cardamom powder and keep stirring and cook until mixture turns into a dough. Transfer into the greased glass dish use a spoon to smooth the barfi into the thickness of your choice.

Sprinkle with red and green coconut gently press down the coconut to let the coconut stick to the barfi.

Let sit for 45 minutes to an hour before slicing.
