Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and line a 10x13-inch cake pan with oil and parchment paper and set aside.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cardamom, and cinnamon powder and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, using an electric hand mixer, beat the butter and the sugar until creamy. Then add vanilla extract and the eggs one at a time. Beat until smooth and creamy.

In a separate bowl, peeled and mashed the bananas and add to the batter and mix.

In addition, add the flour mixture and the milk, beat until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, bake until a butter knife inserted comes out clean 45-55 minutes.

Let the cake cool down completely before frosting.

To make the buttercream frosting: In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter until creamy for 2-3 minutes, add the heavy cream, vanilla extract and icing sugar beat until smooth for 3-4 minutes. Add the frosting on the cake, spread in an even layer, slice and serve immediately with tea or coffee.
